The Patterson Proxima Nova kit ships four faces only: 400, 400 italic, 700, 700 italic. Every other weight is synthesized by the browser off the 700 master. The production theme still asks for 800 on h1/h2, 600 on .btn and 500 on .eyebrow — so faux bold is what the live sites actually render. Treat 700 as the real bold ceiling; to get true heavier weights, add variations to Typekit kit rul6mjk first.
